Join The Ride
If you are interested in joining the PRISM 2010 Reno To Reno Charity Ride, we would love to have you be a part of it. This is a unique opportunity to share time with friends, wonder at the beautiful scenery, and have a story that you can tell for many years to come, and all for a great cause.
This year will happen before PRISM Conference. And we’ve designed it that if you want to ride and don’t have a motorbike, you can rent a Motorbike right in Reno.
In order to set up your Charity Page, fill in the form below and we’ll send you the details.
There are some important considerations to be aware of before deciding that you are ready to take on this great adventure.
- Your motorcycle ride will cover a tremendous variety of riding conditions including twisty roads, the possibility of sand, gravel, or debris on the pavement, and even the possibility of rain or fog while on your ride. Motorcycle riding exposes you to temperature extremes that vary widely from heat to cold. This is not a place for novices or a place to learn to ride a motorcycle.
- It is important that you, the participant(s) is/are in reasonable physical health, and accustomed to spending all day long aboard a motorcycle.
- The ride is considered friends riding with friends, with each rider understanding that they are responsible for their own liability. As such, each rider and passenger will be required to sign an acknowledgment of risk and waiver of liability.
- Each rider is responsible for all their own expenses incurred prior to, during and following the ride.
- Group riding requires a greater deal of attention compared to riding alone. Please take the time to study the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Guide to Group Riding at http://www.msf-usa.org/downloads/Group_Ride.pdf
- As this ride is for charity, as well as for pleasure, we are hoping that each rider will commit to raising a minimum of $500 towards the chosen charity.
Still Interested? Good. Fill in the form below or contact Ian Thomas or Dennis Barnedt for further information.
If the ride is not for you, please consider sponsoring an individual rider or the entire journey. It is still a great way to be a part of PRISM’s second annual charity event.
